History
Heartland Midwest was established in 2000 to install waterlines, dig footing, spread dirt and clean up construction sites for general contractors. In early 2001 Heartland Midwest started working for local municipalities and utility companies. Our business has evolved into telecommunication, water, sewer and directional drilling. Heartland Midwest has been an AT&T / Southwestern Bell contractor since 2001 and has performed work for Time Warner Cable since 2002.
In 2005 Heartland Midwest started the Water and Sewer Division, completing several projects including large diameter storm drains, 30,000 LF of 4” force sewer mains and 90 grinder pump lift stations, 12 miles of 12” HDPE Water lines and a complete subdivision including water, storm, sanitary, excavation roads and curbs.
Heartland Midwest currently employs a team of 140 people in Kansas and Texas. In 2006 Heartland Midwest built a new corporate office building located at 15795 S. Mahaffie Street in Olathe, Kansas.
